The round table «Environmental risks reduction in the timber industry, mining, pulp and paper, chemical industry and other sectors of the Russian economy» will be held in the framework of Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum and Exhibition «RosPromEco-2014».
At the modern stage of Russian economic development towards the sustainable development and social and economic growth the main attention is focused on special importance of environmental risks reduction in the course of economic activity at the enterprises of a timber industry complex, mining, pulp and paper, chemical and other industries. The basis for the environmental risks reduction in carrying out the economic activities is taking measures for prevention of environmental pollution, introduction of resource and energy saving technologies with the simultaneous involvement of the waste generated in the economic turnover.
The round table participants will discuss directions for environmental risks reduction in the implementation of economic activity, normative-legal base questions with regard to the economic encouraging the introduction of low-waste and resource-saving technologies, involvement the wastes into the economy, and also be able to evaluate technologies that can be positioned as the best available.
The resolution, prepared according to the results of the «round table» and which contains the recommendations of the participants will be presented to the state authorities of the Russian Federation.
